Barclay Training Center-Monrovia (June 23, 2025): There is no recruitment for now.
It has come to the attention of the Ministry of National Defense that certain individuals are spreading misleading information on Facebook, reportedly soliciting money with the false promise of recruiting people into the Armed Forces of Liberia.
The Ministry wishes to inform the general public that it has not authorized any recruitment exercises for the Armed Forces of Liberia, nor has it granted permission to any individual to conduct recruitment activities. We acknowledge the passion by citizens desiring to enlist into the country's military but urge the public to be cautious of fraudulent individuals claiming to represent the Ministry of National Defense in recruitment matters.
The Ministry will ensure that when recruitment begins, there will be an official announcement made through newspapers, radio stations, the Ministry's website, and Facebook pages. Additionally, billboards will be displayed in strategic locations throughout the country.
Therefore, we advise the public not to engage with anyone or any Facebook platform that claims to be conducting recruitment for the Armed Forces of Liberia.
