Conflict escalated between Israel Iran in the Middle East 

As the conflict escalates between Israel and Iran, approximately 50 fighter jets launched airstrikes on infrastructure and targets associated with the Iranian nuclear project in Tehran:

Throughout the night, Israeli Air Force fighter jets conducted sorties over Tehran, striking infrastructure and targets linked to the Iranian nuclear project, under the guidance of the Intelligence Directorate.

The strikes targeted over 80 objectives, including the headquarters of the Iranian Ministry of Defense, the headquarters of the nuclear project (SPND), and additional targets where the Iranian regime concealed the nuclear archive.

As part of Operation "Rising Lion", the IDF struck over 170 targets and more than 720 military infrastructure components in under three days.

We continue to intensify our efforts to counter the Iranian nuclear threat, targeting its core and depriving it of critical capabilities and components essential for weapon production.

President Trump signs proclamation banning travel from 12 countries.

President Donald Trump signed a proclamation on Wednesday banning travel from 12 countries, citing national security concerns.

The administration is imposing full restrictions on entry into the United States from nationals of Afghanistan, Burma, Chad, the Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen.

Additionally, Trump is imposing partial restrictions on entry from nationals of seven other countries: Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan and Venezuela.

As President, I must act to protect the national security and national interest of the United States and its people.

I remain committed to engaging with those countries willing to cooperate to improve information-sharing and identity-management procedures, and to address both terrorism-related and public-safety risks," Trump wrote.
