NEC Liberia has begun the decommissioning of at least 500 BVR kits at its Central Warehouse on 9th Street, Sinkor.

Upon completion, the BVR kits and Photo Backdrops would be officially turned over to the National Identification Registry - NIR in Monrovia.

The NEC and NIR are working together to consider the use of the BVR kits for citizens registration.

Of late, NIR Director General, Andrew Peters, paid a courtesy call on the Chairperson of the Commission, Madam Davidetta Browne Lansanah, as a follow - up on technical cooperation between both entities.
