Additionally, Mertu Institute,GONET Academy,PJSL are among illegal schools operating in the country.

Meanwhile, University of Liberia, Cuttington University,BCTC, Adventist University of West Africa , Salvation Army Polytechnic University,Apex University of Liberia, Nimba University among others have been given a 1 year ultimatum to meet all requirements or risk closure.
