Implementation of Preventive Measures in Response to the Monkeypox Outbreak...

The Division of Passports of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs wishes to inform the general public that, in adherence to health protocols issued by the National Public Health Institute of Liberia (NPHIL) and the Ministry of Health regarding the prevention and containment of the Monkeypox outbreak, the following measures will be implemented:


Effective Monday, July 21, 2025, passport services will be strictly by appointment only. Daily processing will be limited to 100 applicants, distributed as follows:
30 Express Applications
70 Regular Applications
Appointments can be scheduled during the completion of the online passport application form.

All applicants will be required to present original copies of their supporting documents along with corresponding photocopies, at the time of processing.

The Division regrets any inconvenience these measures may cause and appreciates the public’s understanding and cooperation.

These actions are being taken in the interest of public health and safety, and we encourage everyone to comply accordingly.
