LNP Statement on Ben Town Tragedy The Liberia National Police is actively investigating a deeply disturbing incident that occurred on June 20, 2025, in Ben Town, Marshall Road, Margibi County.

The victim, identified as Madam Sianneh Goe Ricks, a 45-year-old Liberian-Canadian and resident of Ben Town, was found deceased in her room and tragically burned beyond recognition. Due to the condition of the remains, she has since been interred.

At this time, five individuals have been identified as persons of interest and are under active investigation.

We urge the public to remain calm and cooperative as our investigation continues. The Liberia National Police is fully committed to uncovering the truth and ensuring that justice is served.
