Residents of Wayzohn in Grand Bassa are poised to benefit from public electricity as workers from MBH Power initiate connections to local homes on the electricity grid.
The electrification project aims to provide a sustainable energy source to thousands of residents, thereby facilitating enhancements in education, healthcare, and overall quality of life.
The project, funded through a combination of government and private investments, has commenced its first phase, which encompasses the installation of power lines and distribution of transformers throughout areas surrounding Wayzohn City.
Prince Targbah, a resident of the Tower Street community, expressed enthusiasm for the project, stating, "We have waited for electricity for a very long time.
I eagerly anticipate seeing it in my room, powering my television and fan." "This electricity will revolutionize everything in this city, particularly at the government hospital."
