
Deputy Ambassador of Sierra Leone Visits Liberia’s Minister of Internal Affairs to Discuss Q Net Concerns
The Deputy Ambassador of the Republic of Sierra Leone accredited to Liberia, paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Francis Sakila Nyumalin, Liberia’s Minister of Internal Affairs, at his office in Monrovia.
The meeting focused on several pressing national issues, with a particular emphasis on the controversial operations of Q Net within Liberia. Ambassador Kallon raised serious concerns regarding the company, which has reportedly been involved in scamming Sierra Leonean citizens. He highlighted that Q Net’s activities have faced substantial criticism in Sierra Leone, urging the Liberian authorities to take proactive measures to protect the peace and security of both nations.
In response, Minister Nyumalin expressed his commitment to addressing the matter promptly. He assured Ambassador Kallon that the Ministry of Internal Affairs would collaborate with the Ministry of Justice and other relevant institutions to conduct a thorough investigation and implement necessary actions to mitigate the situation.
